Emergency petitions/motions must contain a certification that the matter is a true emergency and a statement that opposing counsel has been notified in an attempt to resolve the matter amicably.

In mental health cases, the e-filed emergency petition, any response, and the proposed order must be emailed directly to the Judicial Assistant and the Bailiff, copying all parties.

Notices of readiness for trial must be submitted by email to the Judicial Assistant at jpaz@jud11.flcourts.org.

Proposed orders related to a hearing must not be submitted before the hearing takes place.

All proposed orders must be submitted via CourtMAP except in mental health cases, and the Case Manager reviews submissions before forwarding them to the Judge.

Proposed orders for matters already heard by the Court must include 'Post Hearing' in the title and the hearing date in the first sentence of the body.

Supporting documents for proposed orders must not be categorized as 'Exhibit,' to avoid a system glitch and delay in the order appearing on the docket.

Proposed orders approving minor settlements must not be submitted; instead, the matter must be set for hearing with the Guardian and GAL present via Zoom.

Motions for clarification, rehearing, or reconsideration must be submitted as a proposed order with supporting documents, including a cover letter, via CourtMAP.

Hard copies and binders are not accepted by the Court.
