Effective December 1, 2015, the United States District Court for the Central District of California will amend its local rules to require attorneys to electronically file sealed documents in otherwise PUBLIC/NON-SEALED CIVIL CASES using the Court’s CM/ECF system. Additional changes to the Local Rules effective the same day will change the way leave to file documents under seal must be requested, especially for documents subject to a protective order, and provide guidance for seeking in camera review of documents.
